
Quiet Lock 5-Year Limited Warranty
Product Covered:
All Quiet Lock products purchased from the official website (www.quietlock.com) or an authorized retailer.
Warranty Period: This Limited Warranty extends to the original retail purchaser and lasts for Five (5) Years from the date of original purchase.
What is Covered:
Quiet Lock warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal residential or commercial use during the Warranty Period.
If the product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect within the Warranty Period, Quiet Lock will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective product or component, free of charge.
What is NOT Covered:
This Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

Normal Wear and Tear: Including minor scratches, fading of finish, or deterioration due to standard, long-term use.

Improper Installation or Use: Damage caused by incorrect installation, failure to follow installation instructions, improper maintenance, abuse, misuse, or alteration of the product.

Accident or External Damage: Damage caused by accident, fire, flood, natural disaster, power surges, or unauthorized repair attempts.

Corrosion or Environmental Factors: Damage resulting from exposure to chemicals, cleaning products, corrosive environments, or extreme weather conditions.

Non-Original Parts: Use of any replacement components not manufactured or authorized by Quiet Lock.
Product Installation Liability Statement: Quiet Lock is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the installation of its products, including but not limited to damage to screws, door jambs, or door facings. Furthermore, Quiet Lock does not accept responsibility for any damage to electronic devices or finished surfaces where the Quiet Guardian may be installed.
How to Make a Warranty Claim:
To obtain replacement under this warranty, the original purchaser must submit a claim:

The original order number or proof of purchase.

A detailed description of the defect or problem.

Provide Photographic Proof: The buyer must include clear photographic evidence showing the claimed defect in the product or component. Claims submitted without adequate photographic documentation may be denied.

Return Authorization (RMA): If the claim is approved, Quiet Lock will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to return the defective product, if necessary. The customer may be responsible for shipping costs to return the original defective item.
Remedy:
Upon verification of the defect, Quiet Lock's sole obligation and the buyer's exclusive remedy under this warranty is the replacement of the defective product or component. Quiet Lock shall not be responsible for any costs incurred for removal, installation, or re-installation.
